DELPHOS — Judy E. Wilson, 79, of Delphos passed away on Friday, Jan. 8, at her residence.
She was born on July 9, 1941, in Delphos to Francis and Madonna (Weber) Reinemeyer, who preceded her in death.
She
is survived by her children, James (Janet) Wilson of Toledo, John
(Keri) Wilson of Hartville, Charles (Diane) Wilson of Delphos and Daniel
(Jessica) Wilson of Waynesfield; her brothers, William (Claudia)
Reinemeyer of Bowling Green, Joseph (Jenny) Reinemeyer of Hilliard and
Edward (Jaqueline) Reinemeyer of Van Wert; 11 grandchildren; and four
great-grandchildren.
Judy was also preceded in death by the father
of her children, Paul Wilson; brother, Frank Reinemeyer; and sister,
Donna Kay Guthrie.
Judy was a graduate of Delphos St. John’s High
School, class of 1959; never missing a day of school. She then graduated
in 1962 from the St. Rita’s School of Nursing. She was a registered
nurse for 45 years in the St. Rita’s Surgery Department. She was a
member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, and the Catholic
Ladies of Columbia. In her spare time, Judy enjoyed doing crossword
puzzles, crocheting, and volunteering at the St. Rita’s Thrift Shop. She
cherished every moment with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren
and loved watching their sporting events. She also liked to root for her
favorite baseball teams, the Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Indians.
Judy would often be seen walking her dog, Mollie, around town.
Funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral mass at Harter & Schier Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.
