DELPHOS — Ladonna A. Klima, 95, of Delphos, passed away on Tuesday at The Meadows of Delphos.

She was born Nov. 20, 1923, in Delphos to Anthony and Catherine (Didion) Clement, who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage on Aug. 20, 1946, to Vincent C. Klima, who preceded her in death on June 2, 2003.

She is survived by a son, Charles W. (Mariana) Klima of Texas; a daughter, Diane Van Horn of Arizona; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic church, Catholic Ladies of Columbia Council 40, former member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Life member of VFW Post 3035, life member of the Delphos Canal Commission and the American Ex. Prisoner of War Aux. She attended school for eight years in a one-room school house and was a 1942 graduate of Delphos Jefferson.

Ladonna worked in sales for various stores in the Delphos area, but mostly worked side by side with her husband Vince on their farm. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, camping, playing card games, bingo, volunteering at the thrift shop, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, the Rev. Douglas Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Friday at Harter and Schier Funeral Home, where a CL of C service will begin at 4 p.m., a VFW Aux. service at 4:15 p.m. and a Parish Wake will begin at 6:30 p.m.
