DELPHOS – Nancy L. Merschman, 64, of Delphos passed away Monday evening at The Meadows of Kalida.
She
was born May 27, 1956, in Lima to Harry and Velma (Kill) Hoersten, who
preceded her in death. On Sept. 25, 1982, she married Harold Merschman,
who survives in Delphos.
Nancy is also survived by two brothers,
David Hoersten and Larry (Patricia) Hoersten of Delphos; two sisters,
Margie (Douglas) McNeal of Delphos and Janet Swift of Spencerville; four
brothers-in-law, Tom (Kim) Merschman, Dave (Lisa) Merschman, Paul
(Bonnie) Merschman and Jim Merschman of Delphos; a sister-in-law,
Barb (Rick) Burgei of Delphos; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Michael Swift; and her in-laws, Sonny and Margaret Merschman.
Nancy
was a 1976 graduate of Delphos Jefferson High School. She had worked 30
years as a nurses aide, retiring from Roselawn Manor in Spencerville.
She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, and Delphos
Eagles Aerie 471. Nancy enjoyed playing bingo, doing crossword puzzles
and playing on your computer. She truly enjoyed her family, she was a
very loving person.
A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. on
Friday at Weber Funeral Home, Delphos, the Rev. Jerry Schetter
officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Fort Jennings.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
