LIMA — Chase Martin of St. John’s continued his march through the 2020-21 wrestling season with another win at the Lima Senior Invitational on Saturday. The 170-pounder defeated Mason Sawler of St. Marys in a 13-3 major decision to take the top spot in his weight class.

Mason Vonderwell had a strong finish for the Jays, finishing second in the 16-pound class. He fell to Zane Hitchcock of Mechanicsburg in a 5-3 decision. Josh Unland (132) finished in fourth place and Gaige Horton (285) ended his day in eighth. The Blue Jays finished the event ninth place as a team.

Columbus Grove finished in fourth place and were led by Jeff Meyer (285) and Ezra Jones (182), who placed first in their respective divisions.

Reuben Noriega (220) and Brandon Dues (285) of Spencerville finished in third place. The Bearcats finished in fifth place as a team.
