PAULDING — The Jefferson boys golf team won their match against Paulding on Tuesday. Ada also joined the two teams and shot a 186 on the day.

Logan Gallmeier led Jefferson and was the Medalist with a 38. Braxton Scalf was right behind him for a 39.

The Wildcats improve to 6-8 in the NWC after their win on Tuesday.

VERSAILLES — The St. John’s boys edged out the Tigers 166-167 on Monday. Jared Lucas and Jack Gerker led the way for the Jays after finishing their day with a 38.

DELPHOS — Kalida edged Delphos St. John’s by one shot Saturday to win the 2019 Delphos Country Club High School Invitational.

The Wildcays won the event shooting a 340 as the Blue Jays were second at 341. Ottoville finished third with a 369 team score, while Columbus Grove was fifth at 378, Miller City was sixth with a 400 and Fort Jennings was eighth with a 423.

Jack Gerker, St. John’s, and Ryan Klausing, Kalida, shared medalist honors with an 81. Klausing shot a 40 on the front nine for the Wildcats and had a 41 on the back nine, while Gerker had a 42 on the front side and a 39 on his back nine.

Kalida had their top four golfers finish in the top 10 individually as David Peck tied for third with an 84 and Josh Recker was next with an 87. Alex Edelbrock and Justin Siebeneck tied for fifth place with 88s.

St. John’s stayed close as Jared Lucas tied for third place with an 84, while Jeffrey Odenweller and Lincoln Mueller were among a ;arge group of golfers at 88.

Miller City’s TJ Michel was among the top golfers shooting an 87, while Columbus Grove’s Owen Macke and Ottoville’s Carter Schnipke were among the group of golfers that shot an 88 on Saturday. Dru Hilvers finished with a 90 for the Big Green and Austin Macke had a 92.
