On 9-26-2019 officers met with female who wished to report that her grandson was being habitually unruly. A report was forwarded to the Van Wert County Juvenile Court for charges of Ungovernable Juvenile.

On 9-29-2019 a female contacted the police department for a report in reference to telecommunications harassment. The female wanted a copy of the report to attempt to obtain a protection order.

On 9-30-2019 officers were dispatched to the 100 block of W. Clime St, for a juvenile that had left the residence without permission. The juvenile’s grandmother stated that this has been an on-going issue and that she didn’t know where her grandson went. A report was taken and forwarded to the juvenile prosecutor’s office.

On 9-30-2019 officers were sent to the 700 block of Suthoff St, in reference to a menacing complaint. The female showed officers text messages that were sent by a male to her and boyfriend. The messages were sent after a disagreement that they had with the male. The female requested a copy of the report to obtain a protection order and to review for possible criminal charges.

On 10-02-2019 officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Suthoff St, for a possible prowler complaint. Officers met with the home owner, and she stated that she believed someone was attempting to enter her residence through the back door. Officers did not locate anyone around the residence, but did observe damage done to the complainant’s vehicle.

On 10-02-2019 officers became aware of an active warrant out of Mercer County for 30 year old, Kristopher Decker, of Delphos. Officers located Decker and took him into custody. He was then transported to the Allen County Jail.

On 10-03-2019 officers took a third report from a female who stated that her grandson was leaving her residence without her permission and staying out late. Officers forwarded all information to the Van Wert Juvenile Prosecutor.

On 10-04-2019 officers met with a female in the 900 block of N. Pierce St. The female wished to file a missing person report as she had not seen or heard from her daughter for days. All of the pertinent information was gathered and the female was entered into a database as missing.

On 10-04-2019 officers located a male, 30 year old Joshua Hurles, of Delphos, whom they previously knew had active warrants out of Allen and Putnam Counties. Hurles was taken into custody and turned over to a Deputy from Allen County.

On 10-04-2019 officers were dispatched to Stadium Park for a report of a male who was offering alcohol to juveniles. Officers located the male who denied the allegation and did not have any alcohol in his possession. Officers got a second call a short time later about the same issue and met with the same male. He was removed from the park and advised not to return. The report was forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for review of charges.

On 10-07-2019 officers spoke with a male in the 400 block of Harmon St. The male told officers that he owns property on S. Bredeick St, and people are trespassing and causing damage. The male was advised on how to file a Criminal Trespass order on the suspects.
